Kakurabacken

Kakurabacken is a small indie dev studio consisting of 3 friends that wanted to get away from their daytime jobs. We focus on creating games that we actually would want to play ourselves. And have fun time while doing it.

Our team meet eachother through a shared passion for gaming and game development. Emil and Linus are old time friends that decided to go to gamedeveloper school on the evnings, while working on the stop the leak game Matti got intressted in the project and joined the team.

The name "Kakurabacken" comes from a small hill in Finland where Emil and Linus used to go to sauna and get wasted before we grew up to proper adults.

Our goal is to create engaging and enjoyable games that reflect our passion for gaming, while maintaining a fun and collaborative development environment.
